Bio

Amy Morris is a theatre-maker, writer and director based in Newcastle NSW. She graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) in Creative and Performing Arts and English in 2017. Amy has over 9 years experience facilitating drama workshops for young people and currently facilitates workshops at Tantrum Youth Arts. Amy has a passion for collaboratively devised work, comedy writing, youth arts, and taking silliness seriously. Recent credits include Mess League (theatre-maker) and Big Revue Energy (director). She was also recently awarded "Best Direction" for the short play What's About To Happen On The Dance Floor at Micro Theatre Festival.
